The Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback competition is heating up with Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers looming. Michael Penix stands out as the franchise’s investment, but can he translate his strong camp into live-game success? Tua’s battle-tested arm could stage a comeback, but will he find his Miami Dolphins form and seize the QB1 job if Penix isn’t ready? The conversation shifts to rising talents Jack Strand and Cooper Rush, both eager to shake up the depth chart before kickoff. With roster moves in full swing, the possibility of signing Joe Milton—whose live arm flashed in the Cowboys’ preseason—emerges as a wild card. Could a trio of Penix, Strand, and Milton provide the quarterback depth Atlanta craves, or will Tua redefine the pecking order? The stage is set at Flowery Branch as fans look for clarity in a crowded quarterback room ahead of the showdown with Pittsburgh. #riseup #falcons Photo credits: IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect Support us by supporting our sponsors!
