The Atlanta Falcons’ offense remains a mystery as questions swirl around the quarterback position. Is Michael Penix ready to return from his third ACL surgery, or will the team turn to Jack Strand, the preseason standout who’s yet to prove himself in the regular season? Uncertainty persists with Cooper Rush and Tua as possible backups, while trade rumors float names like Mac Jones and Tyson Bagent. Can a midseason move steady a unit in “disaster mode” before it’s too late?
Star pass catchers like Drake London and Kyle Pitts face frustrating underutilization, leaving fans to wonder if this group’s true potential will ever be unlocked. Zachariah Branch, Zacchaeus, and Jahan Dotson could find more impact if the Falcons choose the right signal-caller, but with week 2 approaching and no clear answers, is Atlanta destined to pick high in the next NFL Draft to finally find their franchise quarterback?
