The Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback competition heats up as Michael Penix Jr. returns from his ACL injury, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle with Tua for the starting role. With Penix impressing in 7-on-7 drills but yet to be tested under live pressure, questions swirl about his mental readiness and ability to regain top form against NFL-caliber defenses. Will lingering doubts over his injury recovery shape Atlanta’s decision at QB1? Roster intrigue doesn’t end there. At running back, Tyler Goodson looks to have locked up the RB3 spot behind Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson, while Cash Jones brings unique versatility but faces a tough path to the final roster. Wide receivers Vinny Anthony and Beaux Collins vie for a potential sixth spot, with the battle likely coming down to waiver implications and special teams value.
