The Atlanta Falcons are primed for a defensive resurgence after a headline-grabbing trade landed disruptive defensive lineman Gervon Dexter from the Chicago Bears. With Dexter’s explosiveness and versatility, joining forces with Brandon Dorolus and Za'Darius Smith, the team’s front seven looks more formidable than ever. Zach Harrison shifts focus to the outside, while rookies like Cameron Thomas and undrafted standout Malcolm DeWalt add depth and excitement to a revamped roster. The defensive backfield emerges as a major storyline, with 13 DBs making the cut—highlighted by surprising inclusions like Natron Brooks and a healthy Billy Bowman Jr., AJ Terrell anchors the corners, as Sidney Brown and DeMarcco Hellams look to solidify the safety group. Can Jeff Ulbrich’s defensive scheme unlock the full potential of this versatile, aggressive unit and overcome last year’s struggles? All eyes are on these new faces as Atlanta aims for a dramatic turnaround. #riseup #falcons #NFL Photo credits: IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect
