Michael Penix faces mounting pressure after a disastrous showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where his turnover-prone play raised fresh doubts about his future as the Atlanta Falcons’ franchise quarterback. With the offensive line struggling and the run game faltering since the Saints matchup, the Falcons’ offensive identity hangs in the balance heading into a critical clash with the Cincinnati Bengals in Madrid.
Jahan Dotson emerged as a bright spot, demanding more volume next to Drake London, but the inability to convert key short-yardage situations remains a glaring issue. Can Tommy Rees find answers to resurrect Atlanta’s rushing attack and unlock Bijan Robinson’s explosive potential? The race for the NFC South heats up as the Falcons search for consistency and answers before the trade deadline.
